Dave Graham - European Tour - October 2008
In association with Heason Events, Glasgow University Mountaineering Club is hosting a Dave Graham lecture as he roams the UK with his first ever lecture tour.
The event is being held on SUNDAY 12th OCTOBER ‘08 at 8pm in the Sir Charles Wilson Building, Gilmorehill, Glasgow.
Dave Graham is a phenomenon. Exploding onto the scene only a few years ago he pretty much instantly established himself as one of the strongest climbers on the planet with very quick repeats and first ascents of many of the worlds hardest boulder problems and routes. On top of that Dave can talk! His enthusiastic philosophy on life, climbing and everything else is evident in the many climbing films he’s starred in and in his online writings (see his blog). His lecture will combine all of the above in a whirlwind hour and a half highly energised performance, focussed on the progression of hard climbing and where it is headed.
Tickets are priced at:
£10 Standard
£7 Concessions (students, under 18’s and OAP’s – please bring relevant cards).
We are also selling tickets for events coming to Glasgow Uni soon: the Reel Rock Tour on the 13th of November (£7/£5), and Chris Sharma on the 3rd of March (£12/£9).
You can buy a combo ticket for all three events for just £25 (£20 conc.).
Tickets can be bought in advance either ONLINE or by POST. They can also be bought on the night!
