Here are some of the main questions that are often asked by those thinking of joining:
- How often do we go away?
- Every fourtnight - Check out where and when on the Meets Page.
- Where do we stay?
- During the winter we stay in village halls and ocationally, huts. The summer meets its time to enjoy the sunshine?! and the outdoors through camping.
- What essential gear do I need to come along on a meet.
- You'll want to check out the Gear Page for all the info you could ask for.
- Are we all hardcore climbers / mountaineers / psychos?
- The club caters for all - your sure to find someone who wants a more chilled out walk as much as you are bound to find someone whos up for that grade V ice climb or 5 munro epic.
Also for some there is not much better than a post Saturday night hungover breakfast followed by an gentle stroll around a loch on the Sunday for those that over-did it the night before...

- How much does it all cost?
- It costs £20 to join the club initially and this is for the university year.
- On joining you are able to come on meets which cost a further £20 pounds each which covers accomodation and transport - a bargain compared to travelling all the way up by our countrys wonderful public transport.
- Further to this, for insurance reasons GUSA membership (the gym) is compulsory for all new members.
- How do I find out more?
- You want to join the club, How?
- Come to Uisge Beatha on Woodlands Road (red whisky pub) Tuesday night after about 9pm - we have the area reserved to the right when you first get in; look for the crowd basicly.
